Research takes center-stage and forms the pivot of the company’s strategic road map. Besides conducting on-going research, our paint innovations continually redefine the Paint Industry.
At any given time, UNIVEST evaluates anywhere between 10 and 20 products in the areas of quality, and possible product improvement. In a typical year we introduce at least five new products and upgrade a further 15 products. This constant innovation and improvement has played a key role in the success of UNIVEST brands. Our research and development team of experienced Chemists constantly analyze the application, finish, aesthetics, & longevity of our products—as well as the respective service requirements of each valued client.
Production
UNIVEST is proud of its head office & main production unit, located in Riyadh. Our Headquarters boast the best in class production & research facilities, and feature the latest paint manufacturing technology and the most stringent quality control systems. The production capacity of our plant is around 60,000 tons annually, and our factory complies with both international ISO & ASTM, as well as Saudi quality standards. We are also proud of our achievements to date, and our Riyadh factory has won the coveted "King Abdul-Aziz Award" for the Ideal factory To maintain an optimum work environment, the entire facility is air-conditioned, and all heavy-duty functions are mechanized to make employees’ lives easier and increase overall productivity.
Quality Control
Strict quality control measures are exercised over all process functions, from raw material to finished goods to services. All Quality Control (QC) activities are carried out in accordance with all national (SASO) & international (ISO, ASTM, etc.) standards. Our laboratories ensure consistent quality. Relevant tests are conducted periodically, ensuring that results are well within the set standards.
Logistics
Logistics plays an integral part in our drive towards total and unmatched customer satisfaction. With logistic centers strategically located throughout the Kingdom and GCC market, UNIVEST is able to deliver all its products through seamless distribution. Both raw material and finished goods warehouses are manned efficiently with the latest technology, to ensure all products are stored properly. Customer service is at the forefront of our strategy, and this commitment drives all of our decisions.

Saudi National Day
Saudi National Day is celebrated annually on September 23rd to commemorate the renaming of the Kingdom of Nejd and Hejaz to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1932 following a royal decree from King Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud. DYRUP Paints, being a 100% Saudi-owned company prides itself in being a part of this great nation of ours.
Thus, on the Saudi National Day, 2020, we had a get-together and invited all of members of our team to celebrate this historical day and we can’t wait ‘til next year’s!

International Coffee Day
International Coffee Day (1st October) is an occasion that is used to promote and celebrate coffee as a beverage, with events now occurring in places across the world. The first official date was 1st October 2015, as agreed by then International Coffee Organization and was launched in Milan.
Since we here at UNIVEST are all big fans of coffee (& its effects on productivity!), we welcomed this day as an opportunity to invite all our team to consume copious amounts of brew!
